Limited Edition Nilgiris Gin is aged in a combination of Peated and Unpeated Amrut casks for a short period, enough to accentuate the intrinsic flavors of the original Nilgiris Gin and also deliver a dynamic influence of the casks.
This limited-edition gin was handcrafted using imported and locally sourced botanicals. The finished spirit was then matured in ex-bourbon casks with the final maturation in a combination of peated and unpeated Amrut casks for a few months, the same casks that produce Amrut's award-winning whiskies. Next, the gin from all the casks was blended so the flavors of the original gin and that derived from the oak could combine for a rich, uniform profile. The gin has been married for almost as many months as it was matured, to create a depth of flavor that would make the gin versatile. This is a gin for mixologists, aficionados and amateurs alike.

If you’ve heard of Amrut Distilleries from India, you likely know all about their world class whiskies, but did you also know that they are masters at crafting incredible rums like Two Indies? Two Indies rum is described as a rum that is a rare union of natural Caribbean rums from the island of Jamaica, Barbados, and Guyana married with Indian Pot Still sugar cane (jaggery).
As one of the first gins ever made in the Mediterranean, Mahón has a rich history that dates all the way back to the 18th century. While many people are fascinated by the history behind this iconic spirit and its incredible success that stands the test of time, very few know much behind the tradition the distillery upholds that is nearly 300 years old, is located on the Baleric island of Menorca, and how the gin is graped distillate based.
It’s very important to choose gin brands that use high-quality raw ingredients and established distilling techniques. The quest for rare gin brands is not always easy, but we have definitely found a rare gem in Xoriguer, the Distiller of Mahón Gin.
Old Port Rum is the first product produced by Amrut Distilleries. It is produced from 100% molasses sourced from native Indian sugar cane. Amrut Old Port Rum ages in a combination of ex whisky barrels and new oak which both add to the smooth rich taste.
While it seems as if mixologists are constantly crafting new creations and marrying unique flavors and ingredients, there is still a demand for classic cocktails. The gin and tonic (G+T) continues to be one of the most popular drinks, due to the beautiful blend of flavors with a bitter tonic and often citrus and pine scented spirit. While many classic cocktails were invented within the past century, the G+T is actually almost two hundred years old and has quite an interesting origin story.

Made with 100% domestically grown barley
Pot Still W is a single wash still whisky, made solely from the distillate produced by Shizuoka's initial distillation machine, Pot Still W. Japanese Barley 1st Edition marks the first bottling that uses 100% domestically grown barley malt as its raw material. Since its operation began in 2016, the Shizuoka Distillery has been brewing using domestic barley malt. While domestic malt is more expensive than foreign malt, it produces a delicate and sweet flavor. Please enjoy this Japanese whisky, a harmonious blend of the smoothness of direct wood fire and the lightness of Japanese barley.
There are only a limited number of direct-fire distillers worldwide, and among them, wood-fired distillers are unique. Local woodcutters split the thinned coniferous trees that overflow from the rich mountains of Shizuoka into firewood. Reviving distilling techniques from over 200 years ago, this whisky was distilled by burning wood. Today, most of the malt whiskies made worldwide do not specify the origin of barley. However, there is a rising demand for Distillers to use locally sourced ingredients. For this 100% Japanese Barley First Edition, Shizuoka prepares whiskey separately for each barley production area and makes whiskey that allows you to feel the terroir.
